If you have a contract with your current provider and are still within contract period, the contract limits you to unlock the phone.

To authorize the release of your phone number to Seawolf Wireless, you will need your account number and PIN code from your former carrier, sometimes billing address. Your account number can be found on your billing statement, or acquired by contacting your provider's customer service department.
Phone number porting can take up to 24 hours to complete, but most ported numbers are fully activated within 1 hour. If you cannot resolve your port-in request within 24 hours, or your previous carrier stops working and your SIM card does not activate, please contact customer service at +1 800-508-3315.
Seawolf Wireless will honor returns for SIM cards within 14 days of order purchase. It must be returned in its original unopened packaging and the SIM card must not be activated. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after we receive the returned product.

For example, John is on Student Plan with Seawolf Wireless. He is a foreign student. During summer, he goes back to his home country. John uses Preserve Number Plan to save his phone number. When he came back to the states, he can resume his regular plan with the same number.
To recharge an expired phone number, a re-activation charge of $5 will be collected. A grace period of 48 hours is allowed. Within the grace period, there is no re-activation charge. Once your phone number expired for 5 days, there is no guarantee we can pull your phone number back.
It is recommended to setup auto recharge to avoid re-activation charge or loss of phone number. The worry free auto recharge program can be removed or added at anytime before end of plan cycle.
